Tenuta di Casa Bruciata, our villa in Umbria could be part of a fairytale story for your Wedding.
Guests enjoy the breathtaking views of the valley that merge together with the charm of the 14th century stone house while the green rolling hills of Umbria are the background for the photos taken of the bride and groom with their families. The “antipasto” is served just in front of the historical Villa’s archway, in a lush green garden covered by ancient oaks. The sun starts to go down behind the hills, creating a magic sunset that soon transforms to a dinner “under the stars”…
Here are some points why you should consider organising your Wedding in Umbria at Tenuta di Casa Bruciata:
A Wedding with a Breathtaking View.
Panoramic Venue and intimacy
The venue is panoramic and immersed in an area of 864 acres covered by marvelous olive and chestnut trees, ponds and ancient oaks. Large green gardens give a great sense of space and there is a 200 degree view from the whole property which will amaze you. In the distance there is a view of Umbria’s green rolling hills, various stone villas situated on the opposite mountains and the valley covered by woods. You can enjoy the silence, tranquility and intimacy of the area while listening to the birds singing. Pure country charm.
A “feel like home” Wedding
The wedding venue is composed of four villas of which the main villa is called Casa Bruciata and another three adjacent villas. Nine guest apartments are inside the villas making a total of 39 beds. This enables in making our weddings a big family gathering held in a historical village immersed in a natural beauty.
Children can play safely in the large exteriors while adults relax. A 14mt×7mt private swimming pool, wi-fi in communal areas, walks in the woods, mountain bikes, wine tastings and cooking courses are some of the activities you can enjoy at the venue with your family and friends.
A Wedding in Umbria’s nature and history
The villa was once a fortress in the 14th century and it was almost completely destroyed by fire. It was then rebuilt in the 15th century and has all the splendour and charm of a historical stone villa. Stones walls and floors, wooden ceilings, original antique furniture and arches all form part of the design elements of this wedding venue. The neighborhood is rich in history as well. Bronze figures of an ancient population that goes back to the 8th century have been found, Etruscans lived in the valley and in the Middle Ages, the old cross roads at Tenuta di Casa Bruciata once linked the Duchy of Tuscany with the Papal State.
